National Centre for Excellence in Analytical Chemistry - Faculty Positions Available University of Sindh, Jamshoro

Faculty Position Required

Applications are invited from highly qualified Pakistani Nationals for faculty positions at the National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. The appointment will be made under the basic pay scale (BPS) system. HEC criteria will be observed for the appointment of Professor and Associate Professor as provided on the HEC website.

Available Positions:

1. Professor (BPS-21)
2. Associate Professor (BPS-20)

Qualifications and Experience:

Professor:

• Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution in Analytical Chemistry.
• 15 years of teaching and research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in Analytical Chemistry in a National or International Organization.
• Minimum of 15 research publications (with at least 10 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.

Associate Professor:

• Ph.D. from an HEC recognized institution in Analytical Chemistry.
• 10 years of teaching and research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
• Minimum of 10 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.

Application Process:

• Obtain the prescribed application form from the Director's office by paying Rs. 7,000/- (rupees seven thousand only) through a Bank Challan payable at Habib Bank Ltd. Account # 00720006019503, Allama Kazi Campus, Jamshoro OR download it from the Centre's website www.ceacsu.edu.pk.
• Submit the filled application form along with a pay order in favor of Director, National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
• Applications should include attested photocopies of CNIC, Degrees, Pass and Marks Certificates from Matriculation onwards.
• Application deadline: 30th May, 2024.
• Applicants already in-service should apply through proper channel.
• All degrees must be verified by the Higher Education Commission or concerned forum.
• Affix a recent passport size photograph on the application form.

Important Notes:

• The Center reserves the right to cancel advertised posts at any stage and may increase or decrease the number of posts.
• No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the written test/interview.
