Applications are invited from male and female citizens of Pakistan for recruitment in the Ministry of Aviation, Islamabad, against the following posts, having the requisite qualifications, domicile, and age limit:

Available Posts:

1. Stenotypist (BPS-14)

• Intermediate qualification required.
• Typing/Shorthand speed of 40/80 respectively.
• Must be computer literate.

2. LDC (BPS-11)

• Matriculation qualification required.
• Minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
• Completion of a 3 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office conducted by NITB) is mandatory for initial appointment after selection and during probation period.

3. Naib Qasid (BPS-01)

• Primary Pass qualification required.

Regional/Provincial Quota:

• Punjab (Merit): 01
• Punjab (Minorities-Non Muslim): 01
• Sindh (R) (Merit): 01
• Baluchistan (Merit): 01
• AJ&K (Merit): 01

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum:
• Stenotypist & LDC: 25 years
• Naib Qasid: 20 years
• (2 posts reserved for disabled persons)

Terms and Conditions:

• Recruitment on Local Basis (Islamabad Domicile only).
• Applicants already in government service or in the service of autonomous bodies, corporations, etc., must apply through proper channel after obtaining NOCs from their respective departments/organizations.
• Eligible candidates will be called for test/interview as per recruitment policy. No TA/DA will be admissible.
• Five years general relaxation in upper age limit PLUS age relaxation is admissible under the initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
• Candidates can apply online through the National Job Portal (http://njp.gov.pk) within fifteen (15) days of the advertisement.
• Applications can also be submitted in hard form along with an attested copy of CNIC (without copies of educational documents) to the undersigned within 15 days of the advertisement. Late submissions will not be entertained.
• Application form is available on the website www.aviation.gov.pk.
• Transgender Persons are encouraged to apply.
