The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Once upon a time, there were four little rabbits, and their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter. They lived with their mother in a sandbank underneath the root of a big fir tree.
One day, Peter became curious and decided to venture into Mr. McGregor's garden to steal some vegetables. However, Mr. McGregor caught sight of him and chased him all around the garden.
Peter managed to escape, but he lost his shoes and his jacket in the process. When he returned home, his mother was very angry with him for disobeying her and going into Mr. McGregor's garden.
The next day, Peter snuck into the garden again, despite his mother's warnings. This time, he was caught by Mr. McGregor and was almost turned into a rabbit pie. Fortunately, Peter managed to escape once again.
On the third day, Peter and his sisters went to pick blackberries for their mother. However, Peter became distracted by the sight of Mr. McGregor's garden and decided to go in once again.
This time, Peter ate so many vegetables that he became very sick. He was rescued by his mother and was sent to bed with a dose of chamomile tea.
From that day on, Peter learned to obey his mother and stay away from Mr. McGregor's garden. He learned that disobedience can lead to danger and consequences.
And so, Peter and his sisters lived happily ever after, playing in the fields and staying away from danger.
